My thought is that when people become wealthy they become isolated and become risk adverse. They shut down and stop connecting with the community and people that actually make them who they are. We as humans often need the energy of others to thrive and flourish but when you become rich you self select out of those groups where people are willing to give their energy to you, and your supposed to reciprocate that energy. But like Ferg said rich folks don’t have any energy(sauce) to give. They are too rigid and worried about their wealth and status.

Poverty is one of satan's most favorite distractions because we end up convinced that we will never acquire true happiness until we escape it…only to realize we simply found the time to finally sit with ourselves with no distractions and actually feel a bit cheated because we thought that would be the answer when the answer was with us all along, but we never considered ourselves worthy of the dedicated time needed to look within.

Instead of thinking about becoming a millionaire we should be teaching people fiscal responsibility. Live below your means, invest for retirement, have 3-6 month emergency fund, save for your children’s college, pay off your mortgage (unless interest if less than 4%). Only when you have met these requirements then take risks in the stock market.

Fiscal responsibility is crucial, but it's also important to seize opportunities for financial growth. While building savings, investing for retirement, and maintaining an emergency fund are essential, the stock market, when approached with caution and risk management, can help build wealth. There are boring rich people and boring poor people. Money just elevates or shrinks the personality you already have once your circumstances change. Rich people buy stuff. Wealthy people invest and create stuff so that they can maintain their wealth. The difference between the two sometimes is that rich people ( especially those who acquired wealth after being broke), feel like they have something to prove so they buy things to show to the world. The ultra wealthy people, you probably wouldn’t even know they have money.

I am nowhere near rich or famous but I can attest to exactly what he's saying. I worked as the personal driver for a famous Japanese restaurant owner in Manhattan, and every other night I had to accompany him to different popular nightclubs throughout the city. Whenever some rich or famous friend of his would ride in the Escalade with him he'd tell me to turn the music all the way up so he didn't have to listen to them 😂. There were 2 occasions when we were at a hyper-famous clothing designers estate in The Hamptons when my boss asked me to pretend that there was a problem with the car, and we needed to get it back to the city for repairs just because he didn't want to be at this designer's house anymore. The first time it worked but the second time the dude offered to let the mechanic that took care of all of his vintage cars take a look at it. I literally had to stand in the workshop hemming and hawing with this man who CLEARLY knew that there was nothing wrong with the car all because my boss didn't know how to politely decline an invitation to hang out with a bunch of extremely rich people.
@McLovin-ko3ff4 күн бұрын
That sounds so interesting could you write a book about it?
@BrooklynBeTheBoro3 күн бұрын
@ I promise you I've considered writing about it over the years. The biggest obstacle for me is that I signed a NDA when I was hired. I've told family, and friends about the things that I witnessed as soon as they happened but roughly 95% of what I saw firsthand would be easily pinpointed to their date and time due to where it all took place. I never actually wanted to make money from revealing what I've seen. I feel like the people who write tell-all books are usually just looking to score a payday instead of just wanting to let the public know that there isn't anything really special about celebrities. Plus, there are two very specific incidents that I witnessed that would lead to a lengthy prison sentence for one of the biggest rappers in history, as well as destroy the squeaky clean image of a certain retired athlete. In the first example I got a threatening visit from the rapper's "friends" immediately after NYPD questioned me. And in the latter example an innocent man got locked up over a weapons charge that actually should have implicated the retired athlete. I'm not worried so much about my former boss finding out that I spilled the beans since it was never him doing anything illegal. At most his billionaire friends will probably be upset finding out that he didn't like being around them. I'm more worried about the rapper since they somehow knew where to find me literal seconds after I was questioned by NYPD. I didn't have kids back when all of this went down, but I do now. I don't want them to have to suffer for something their father witnessed before they were born.

There is so much done to glamorize the lives of the rich and famous, it is a rarity to find a popular entertainer who speaks in such a grounded and introspective way about what is lost when a person reaches that status. All of the art they procure is used to decorate what is in truth an empty inner life. Seeking soul in others to feed the lack thereof in yourself. And the flashiness of it all is so distracting and capable of bringing about envy or jealousy. So the average person is now looking towards celebrity for salvation, but there's no true substance there to be found. Love your life. Your setbacks and shortcoming are opportunities to delve deeper into your soul, into your spirit. The light is within, not without. It's a lesson that we all should be aware of as we move through a world that is so based in consumerism and looks. Of course, being paid is dope. Taking care of yourself and your loved ones is a blessing. Thank you Ferg!

There are different types of rich people. The crowd he’s talking about is kind of boring when you intermingle with them socially. Then there is the old money crowd. I only met one young woman (in college) who was from this side of life. She was cool, but she just didn’t understand that others don’t have the luxury to get up and go do things whenever (because financially they couldn’t) like she could. And you don’t want someone always paying for you. Some people have no problem leeching. I can’t. And you also have the first generation wealth blue collar crowd. The two individuals I met from this segment of life you wouldn’t have known they were wealthy until you are invited to their home (and you see all the land and horses). These individuals weren’t flashy. They were very regular down-to-earth people. They weren’t boring at all.

Rich people learn to control their emotions. Stsying a loose cannon and always going by emotion and impulse you continue to lose.
@leobreed956313 күн бұрын
Cause they're either thinkig about how to keep their riches or how to make more capitalising off the people/system. Once they reach that point were they're SCARED to lose their riches any authenticity goes away. Have their minds always playing tricks on them or only hanging around other people have money where character/personality is reduced but images of what they think people want from them is projected..

The way I see it, creativity doesn't come from order, it comes from the combination of order and chaos. A story that is so predictable that you know how it's going to play doesn't really grab your attention compared to a story that's has different twists and turns(not totally chaotic but there is a method to the madness). This is why some of the most gifted, funiest, creative people had a rough childhood. There is a sense of orderliness rich people have to adopt to retain their wealth, they have to speak a certain way, avoid certain place, watch what they say, basically a fear of loosing it all due to a tiny slip and you can see why people like trump is so loved, cause he doesn't care, he embraces the chaos and that exites people. People who aren't rich has no such hand break, there is a lot of chaos going on around them and everbody around them speaks more truth even though not all the time with words but emotions and that's why they are less boring, because there's more truth and chaos for lack of a better word in their expressions due to their environment.

@1:37 The fashion thing is so real. Some people don’t realize there’s a difference between fashion and having style. Fashion is all about trends and what’s hot while style is an extension of who you *are*. It’s transcends designers and labels. Like you can have a $2000 fit on but if there’s no thought or personality behind it…it’s just clothes.

*underrated clip* heres a similar story and perspective.. I was living in a suburban beach-like town for the past 5 years, and I recently moved somewhere closer to the main city and more into urban communities. *THE FIRST THING I TOLD MY BEST FRIEND* is that I love the flow of energy now where I moved to. Theres the man slanging bar b q chicken in the Home depot parking lot. The latinos at the tire shop was having pretty-much a party there on Friday night. Theres people in the neighborhood playing street ball. My neighbors was singing karaoke at like 3am last night..Kids doing wheelies down the street. I even saw a dog roaming the street at 2am the other day like he was batman or something.. dead ass... I was even surprised to see so much people walking in the streets just last night at 2am. It wasnt alot alot, but I was surprised to see even anybody.. I lost touch with all that. There was NONE of that in the suburbs that I was living at for 5 years. Everybody just seemed a bit more complacent. They had money, but it was traditional-working class money. and i was telling my friend that dull energy kinda creeped into me a bit, but I love how theres more flowing energy where im at now. I wouldnt mind living in suburbs again, but not THAT far from the city. there may be a good number of foot draggers in urban environments (honestly), but the energy *definitely* has more sauce to it. i know EXACTLY what he talking about.

Where can I find more info about this process. I heard NFT's were for the same reason.
@iamgates767915 күн бұрын
@@bambooqueue9093 you can just search about it and find a ton of info. Art is a vehicle for money laundering because its subjective valuation. So an art dealer will sell you a piece of art that is worth like 50 million. You give them the 50 million. You get a piece of art. You put it in a warehouse. A few years later you sell it for 30 million. You’ve now turned 50 million of possibly sketchy cash into 30 million of legit cash that can be traced. This works in the reverse as well. Some art you can keep for a long time and resell it for a lot of money, but, that isn’t usually the case. NFTs were/are the same. No inherent value in the object itself necessarily, the value comes in the ability to wash cash and have a valid taxable paper trail. This process gets even nuttier when you’re talking about buying art in other countries, or importing it, etc etc

I don't agree to an extent. Middle and working class tend to be more flamboyant in appearance but similar in nature. Shoes, clothes and tattoos don't make you different if yall all still got the same motion, for example how traveling somehow everybody favorite thing to do all of sudden. Overall people of different class have different interest and hobbies, and that does not make you boring.

@@theobnoxiousguy3425 I'm talking about the rich in relation to the middle and working class. The rich lives in a different world from the rest of society. What is considered fun and entertaining is not universal. I find golf and tennis boring, but it's a rich person most favorite sport.

In a realm called Outworld, there was an Emperor named Shao Kahn. Shao Kahn was obsessed with conquering Earthrealm. Centuries of work lead to two failed attempts, but Shao persisted. During a battle of Armageddon, Shao Kahn was victorious over all other kombatants; gaining ultimate power over all of realms, including Earthrealm; merging them all with Outworld. However, "his ultimate triumph, was soon to be his downfall." After achieving and conquering literally everything, Shao Kahn was "driven to madness."
