we all make mistakes, doesn't mean that should be held against us for the rest of our lives

Growth can be stunted by so many situations/factors. It's actually scary for an individual experiencing something like that. I'm sure that's true for a lot of trainees who essentially have their most crucial years for development taken away from them. My heart goes out to you and everyone else. ❤

like many others i used to think he left Day6 for selfish reasons. never took a minute to understand what he had to go through during his time as a member. i apologize for thinking that way. anyway i wish him peace and all the best on all his projects. godspeed, Eaj

give yourself time Jae, you were young and learning. Taking the step to learn, grow and develop your maturity is a good step as any as you continue on in life.

the thing about that time of his life was he was having mental health problems at that time that he wasnt aware of nor was the people around him is helping him for. among them was he was having depression, cultural disassociation on both his workplace and country, identity crisis. most of the time that people hate him for and labeling him as "problematic" he was him having mental break downs. he needed help, what he was given was hate. thats why i feel bad for him.. other artist on the same company had mental health problems too, but they had people around them that helped them. largely the fans supported them but also their respected teams helped control the situation. but eaj was left there to drown on his own, resulting on a self-destruct. there were some streams he had at that time where he was showing symptoms of severe depression and agitation to the point of, if something pushed further, it would have gotten to suicidal tendencies. it was painful to watch yet no one really understood. he was crying out for help, yet neither him nor the people around him underrstood. it doesnt excuse him for the things he did. on his own words, he could have done better and he could have handled it more maturely. but thats the thing about it, mental health isnt something you could control in a snap.

The thing is while he was being honest about his mental health issues, it was also the very bullet that these haters used against him. There were even comments in social media that is pushing him to do the unspeakable. Can you imagine that?! I'm particularly thankful that there were loyal fans who stuck with him, even defended him against these bashers. And Jae knows how to repay this kind of devotion, he knows how to love back because we can feel his honesty, his sincerity that even permeates in the song he writes.

My son has a disability and cannot decide his own life, but I think Jaehyun is trying to live without hiding his feelings. If you think you made a mistake, don't repeat it. Even if you feel lonely because of misunderstandings with the people around you, don't stop communicating with them. I'm sorry that the concert in Japan was canceled. Please take care of your health.

I'm glad to see you've really matured. You did behave like a minor at that time, but that was an environment and period where mistakes were not allowed. If you realized all this earlier....myday won’t be hurt so much.

That’s such a shallow kind of mentality to have about someone you don’t know.
