I remember the day when I first heard that the band fired Joey, I was pissed. Then I found out they did it to him while he was in hospital, that pissed me off more. I still listen to Slipknot, but only the Joey and Paul era stuff.

I followed Joey and learned as he was diagnosed while I was recovering from spinal cord tumor surgery. You never recover from this disease, and as some media reports of his symptoms, my latest issue is breathing, my spinal cord is so damaged and it’s chest down, so I wake up and can’t breathe, and it’s like being underwater, holding your breath coming up and gasping, but your lungs aren’t working. It is a death sentence. I will always be a fan of Joey, but his death was not his fault and he couldn’t beat the clock with this disease. May he rest in peace. I wanted to share this. I’m sorry if I overstepped.
