Zack and Cloud on the truck to Midgar scene - Comparison from FF7, Last Order & Crisis Core

Comparing the scene of Cloud and Zack on the truck heading to Midgar, the final moment before Zack's death from Final Fantasy VII (1997), Last Order: Final Fantasy VII (2005) & Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII (2007). This is where Cloud had the idea of becoming a mercenary and greed for money as Zack keep telling Cloud they need to find more money.

I am still so pissed off at Crisis Core for cutting out so much of the truck scene. It was literally the ONE THING I wanted from that game.

UMD limitation. They cut out like half the game they wanted a second UMD to make it 2 discs but they weren't allowed.

I'm sad they cut out Zack hugging Cloud from 2 of these :/ Hope the remake finally includes it again.

I really love Zack, he's such a sweet guy. His relationship with Aerith is so cute and he's such a good friend to Cloud! Not only does he refuse to leave Cloud behind, he talks to him all the time and asks him questions, doing his best to give him reasons to wake up and react. I really hope in Remake he's able to stay alive, he and Aerith deserve their happy ending, just as much as Cloud and Tifa do!

since i just play the ps1 version, i think it brings back the good old memory, and from this scene in ps1 squaresoft (cause back then it's still squaresoft) really make a good plot twist, and most emotional still in crisis core, and in last order just a short recap of what happening but still a nice anime
