Sounding “Canadian” is different depending on what part of the country you’re talking about. Folks from the east coast have a different accent than those from Ontario or Quebec and from Saskatchewan or farther west. And north to south even seems to be different. It’s more complex than I can understand but I know it’s true. Same as the US.
