True Story: I was in a co-worker's office working on a project and was talking about how funny this series was to another co-worker. The co-worker whose office it was had gone quiet then finally snarled, "My SON is named after Zack Morris!" And, welp, her kid really was named 'Zack'. I just blurted, "I'm sorry." But things just got real quiet and there was a lot of glaring. I think I was supposed to feel bad, but I definitely did not. I mean...why would you name your kid after Zack Morris? Dude is trash.

Zach was a a underdog cool class kid/bully with a heart of gold. Just watching that changed how I was in high school. I was a starting running back in high school for 3 years and I had all the odd balls sittting at my table because people knew if they fucked with them , they would get their ass beat by me. Thanks Save by the Bell!!! As a kid growing up, I made sure to divert all the steriotypes of Gen X high school experience. I am a millenial by the way. But Gen X believe it or not was the MTV generation and bullying was bad . The show always made a point for popular kids to defend unpopular kids and the generation that grew on this produced Gen Z so I think we did a good job . lmao
