Zack Snyder's Justice League, often referred to as the "Snyder Cut", is the 2021 director's cut of the 2017 American superhero film Justice League. It presents Justice League-the fifth film of the DC Extended Universe (DCEU) and based on the DC Comics superhero team of the same name-as director Zack Snyder had intended it before he left the production. Like the theatrical release, Zack Snyder's Justice League follows the Justice League - Batman (Ben Affleck), Superman (Henry Cavill), Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), Cyborg (Ray Fisher), Aquaman (Jason Momoa), and the Flash (Ezra Miller)-as they attempt to save the world from the catastrophic threat of Darkseid (Ray Porter), Steppenwolf (Ciarán Hinds), and their army of Parademons.

It explains why it took them so long to find the planet that repelled the invasion thousand of years ago.

Perhaps Joss Whedon's agenda was not to make the best movie he could out of what Snyder left to him. He was hired for a specific purpose: WB wanted to have their 'universe' emulate the MCU. Zach didn't share that goal, but WB STILL seems to be reluctant to embrace that their movies should be different than what Disney/Marvel produces.

What i understand from the movie is that the motherboxes never woke up after the previous battle with Darkseid. Silas Stone woke up the first motherbox after all that time but the box didn't call anyone because it sensed superman on the planet. After his death, the boxes woke up and called Steppenwolf.

It's hard to put into words how much better this movie is. How could ANY movie executive see the other version and think it's better?? It truly blows my mind. And I agree about this movie making a billion dollars in the theaters. Everyone keeps saying that the run time is too long for it to make that kinda money, but I completely disagree. Up until 2009, The Titanic was the highest grossing film of all time, and it's 3 1/2 hours long. Zack could've trimmed off 30 minutes and did this version as the directors cut. So that argument is absolutely ridiculous. I'm so happy that this movie was able to be released. I'm beyond happy for Zack and him whole family!

6:53, Now with this scene, there's an easy explanation for how the Parademon hit Flash. It's actually because of the constant cycling in Flashes' speed that the Parademon hit him. At the rate he's going, he's in every place in the right time to be shot. You cannot miss a bullet when you shoot a wall. Flash basically became a wall, circling the city.

As for the plot hole of Darkseid not associating the planet with the call of the mother boxes, I recenty realised Desaad wanted Steppenwolf to fail, so maybe he didn't mention to Darkeseid that the mother boxes have been found untill that point where Steppenwolf asks to speak to him

zack explained uxas almost died after the ancient battle and was betrayed by the new gods and shoved aside once recovered he went onto taking control of apokolypse, all his generals who knew the location of earth all died in the new gods civil war where he eventually became leader and known as darkseid. We then hear darkseid say he turned 100k worlds to dust trying to find earth and those you denied him his victory and the anti life. But you're right in saying darkseid should have known earth had the anti life as soon as the motherbox contacted steppenwolf because it was lost there.

This movie shows the potential of DC characters have for the future, if done this way. They could be so good, so good, given the justice they deserve. I hope WB look at this and feel the same way, but sadly I can’t help thinking their heart really isn’t in it, their ownership of the rights is just a tool to try to compete with Marvel. It’s like they have a Lamborghini, safe in a garage, it’s a class above the Ferrari Marvel have, and they keep telling us how firikkin great it is, how fast it can go, but when they do bring it out, it’s once a year and they trundle around the block, and then back in the garage nice and safe. Marvel are out in the Ferrari every month and on the Freeway, it’s not as fast or stylish as the Lambo, but it’s out there, they are giving fans something. I’m not bashing WB, I do love any of the past DC movies in spite of how badly they want to let them fail, but please WB, look at this, go this way, copy this, give us some respect for the material and we the fans will give you Marvels head. The ooooonly way you can possibly have Clark Kent resume his normal life at the Daily Planet after this would be involving Martian Manhunter. You either have Manhunter do a massive mindwipe with his telepathic powers, or shapeshift into Clark Kent and stage an event where Superman finds and rescues Clark for everyone to see so that everyone sees these are two separate people. You're still left with having to explain this to Perry White & the co-workers who attended his funeral in Smallville that day, where you would have to either bring them in on the secret too and trust them to protect it, or, again, have Manhunter erase it from their memories. Neither are particularly wholesome options to choose between.

I think this is one area where the inability to do reshoots had an impact. The best way to explain it is to suggest that Darkseid didn't know that Earth hosted the ALE. That it was only because the Mother Boxes were on Earth for 5000 years that they were able to tell Steppenwolf it had been found. Similarly, it should have been made clearer that the main reason Darkseid was driven off was because of the Old Gods. It would have been good to have Steppenwolf mention that...that as powerful as the Old Gods were, that they are dead now, that they are unable to intervene, that though Diana has the Blood of an Old God she is also alone. "No defenders. No lanterns. No Kryptonian. Only the woman...the last trace of the Old Gods who drove Darkseid off this world. And she is alone, untested, inexperienced and unable to match the power of a New God" Leading to.... "It's here!? On this world? No wonder then that Uxas, that Darkseid was defeated. The antiLife Equation must have created the Old Gods to defend itself. But they are dead now and Darkseid has their power. The Mother Boxes did well to corrupt Ares"

A few remarks : - You're a pretty emotional dude, but that was six good reaction videos overall. :D - The Wonder Woman movies should have been directed by Snyder. He's not the greatest director ever, and the writing might have been a mess, but at least, EVERY action scene with her would have been mesmerizing. The way he made her fight in his version reminded me of Faora's fighting skills in MoS. - Those few minutes between Affleck and Leto at the end are the best thing that ever happened to the Joker character next to Ledger. - Speaking of Affleck, I can't believe how much better he got with age. What a charisma. In the additional scenes, he reminded me of old black and white movie stars. - #RestoreTheSnyderVerse...

Only explanation I heard that made sense is that since flash defies the laws of physics, he’s technically everywhere even when he’s not. If you focus in one area eventually you would hit him if not ASAP.
