About Zack Snyder's Justice League

I don't speak for everyone in this thread, but this is what I love about the movies. The out of body experience that many of us felt during this scene is something that will stick with me for a very long time. Zack's directing and Junkie's composition for this film firmly hold a place near and dear to my heart, and I can't thank them enough for the amount of work they poured in to make this a reality.

Whedon got kicked to the curb because AoU didn't do as well as Disney hoped compared to the 1st Avengers box office. Coupled with the great critical reception of Winter Soldier and the box office of Civil War they picked the Russo's. Don't imagine for a second that Whedon was fine with that outcome. The simple fact as that Whedon's storytelling style just doesn't even remotely gel with Snyder's. It's the exact kind of thing that gels with Gunn's Guardians comedic vibe. Between those 2 and Favreau it created the overly comedy dominated MCU cookie cutter system we have now. IMHO Gunn's style is better, and he has a better comic appreciation vs Whedon. I honestly hope Gunn has a more general producing role with Feige in the future as was telegraphed prior to his firing in 2018.

This scene with its message of strength and hope brought me to tears like no other. I was a literal sobbing mess because the words Flash spoke meant more to me than what anyone has spoken to me in YEARS. I love Grant's Flash, but it was really nice to see Barry do something on his own without someone telling him to run lol. Calm, confident, all his insecurities are gone and him realizing what he had to do in a split second was badass. No hesitation or care for himself, he did it to save the world and his friends.
