I love Grant's Flash, but it was really nice to see Barry do something on his own without someone telling him to run lol. Even i felt the same while watching the scene at firstt but here is the positive thing.. we, fans know how fast flash can run and what speed force might look like and what does flash point can be capable and all. but new viewers don't know anything about flash, they probably expected Flash to be like Quick Silver who dies in the end of Age of Ultron. But flash is beyond that. So personally I liked the slow-mo shots of Flash talking to dad, thinking about past, future. See the point of making slow mo its like Flash also trying to understand what speed force is capable of. That's why he says "make your own future, make your own past, Its all right now" that's more like Flash is getting hint of he can "reverse" the tragedy which happened to him in childhood. The wanted to capture the revelation of Flash, not the speed of flash. Its has deeper meaning that's why I liked it.

I like to think that making this movie was also a healing process for Snyder's whole family. @@rahulnegi6895 I don't believe that to be the case - at least not Marvel the company under Disney. Whedon got kicked to the curb because AoU didn't do as well as Disney hoped compared to the 1st Avengers box office. Coupled with the great critical reception of Winter Soldier and the box office of Civil War they picked the Russo's. Don't imagine for a second that Whedon was fine with that outcome. The simple fact as that Whedon's storytelling style just doesn't even remotely gel with Snyder's. It's the exact kind of thing that gels with Gunn's Guardians comedic vibe. Between those 2 and Favreau it created the overly comedy dominated MCU cookie cutter system we have now. IMHO Gunn's style is better, and he has a better comic appreciation vs Whedon. I honestly hope Gunn has a more general producing role with Feige in the future as was telegraphed prior to his firing in 2018.
