I love Hinatas song choices. She did Taylor Swift when I saw her and this Cardigans song is so pretty. Maya is my bias and I have probably seen every fancam of her solo. This one is different. Her confidence is thru the roof and it shows on the way she spit. An emcee at heart.

I think Hinata is still learning English and even though she has been coming out to the forefront singing English English lately, I don't believe she's fluent enough or has the confidence to sing while running around the stage like Chisa. I'm just happy to hear her beautiful voice more and singing in english. Well done Hinata! BTW love the eyes

Nah, you don't need English fluency to sing in it. The girl was singing just fine in Korean while learning it at the same time. It's more about song choice and her own personal stage presence.

I love Hichan…I see her becoming a stronger performer and so it may not be about the song cover..it’s the evolution to becoming more CONFIDENT while performing. I agree ZACK though with your commentary is right on point. MAYA is a BEAST and I love ♥️ her CHARISMATIC PERSONALITY 🚀✨. You're not going to get Chisa energy out of Hinata, she just doesn't function that way. Chisa is a capital E extroverted Kansai girl, and Hinata is a capital I introverted Aichi-ken country girl, and you're not get crazy stage energy out of her unless she's up there with some of the other girls coaxing it out of her (Chisa, Maya, and Juria are the usual culprits). That or you find her trigger button (cough-anime-cough), and/or a song that really pulls it out of her. That being said her "Take Me Away" (Keyshia Cole), and "Complicated" (Avril Lavigne) were probably my favorite English covers by her on the tour.

I tend to agree with the other commenter that said you're not going to get crazy, bouncy Chisa energy from Hinata. Everything I've seen in my time as an XG fan has told me that's just not her. And that's fine, IMO. China can be the energizer bunny out there. Hinata can fill the role of cutesy introverted anime nerd. 😊 She was more animated and interactive with audience than usual in this performance and I think she did great. I think it was a good song choice for her but am around your age and 100% agree that on a personal level I hate it. 😂 You should check out her Complicated cover from the US, I think that's her best solo performance yet. She killed it. Oh and if I had a dollar for every time I or a reactor I'm watching said "Maya, calm down." 😅😅 Maya has no chill, she's a lyrical freight train and has been my bias from day one because of it. The cadence queen.

As a Hinata bias, I very much agree with the song choices. Ive seen them live but I really don't care for a lot of their solo song choices on this tour. Love the girls, just don't like the song choices.. Complicated and Losing You may be the only songs that I like.
