Loved the reaction Zack. Whitney is one of Angelina's idols and always shows her and her music much respect. She sang this in her own key, not trying to be Whitney but paying tribute to the original artist. She is quite mesmerizing to listen to, happens to all of us. Yes some of my favorites of her are before she took her two year break I guess doing all those live performances enabled her to perfect her younger voice but this is one of the ones she did after that time that the young Angelina couldn't have done she just didn't have the power to really match Whitney she did this again in a live concert around the same age and it was just as amazing.

Taking nothing away from Whitney’s beautiful original, I love hearing this iconic sonic with the richness and depth of Angelina’s lower register. You know from the first notes that we’re hearing Angelina’s version and her unique voice. Not overdone, not oversung, but full of passion and strength. No singer I’ve ever heard can cover so many singers and genres so authentically and also so respectfully. It’s another instance of a classic song where I like Angelina’s version better than the iconic original.

Great reaction, Zack 👍 Angelina was exactly 16,5 years old here. As good as this performance is, I still think that she performed it even better live, outdoors, roughly one month prior to this. Better live, outdoors, than on a music video like this?? Crazy, right? The performance I'm talking about was her first time live on a stage since her appearances on America's Got Talent when she was 13, due to the pandemic. Still she came on like an absolute professional, without any visible or audible signs of nerves. In her home country for the first time in that same time. On national television, on Norway's most popular music program. The show is called "Allsang På Grensen", which translates to "Sing-along At The Border". Feel free to check it out and see what you think. If you do, also keep in mind that what you hear is her second performance back to back, due to technical issues during the first take. Just because you’re right about your statement of people covering these Legendary Female icons…… and I think you will see exactly what I seen……. a 12 year old phenom with just an acoustic guitar assisting her vocals actually sing a song with the emotional connection ( no idea how) but destroying the original artist and her version backed by an entire studio of instruments yet all Angelina needed was her voice sir!

The perfect setting for this shoot! The team is spot on with Angelina (16) doing these videos with a classical and elegant style. Let’s just start off with the cinematography it is magnificent. Her vocals are through the roof IMO. She just killed it again! Grandma Mery was the Executive Producer and Cole McCarthy was the Director for this one too. Angelina sang this song at her concerts in Norway, in the summer of 2022. At her 4th and last concert, she dedicated this song to her grandmother Mery Zamani, who, due to health concerns, was unable to go to Norway for the concerts. Mery is Angelina's bestie and the one who introduced her to jazz as a toddler. This live in studio performance came after those concerts. With that dedication, when Angelina sings this song now, I get very emotional, and I am sure Angelina and all of her angels do as well.
