@@alexturnbackthearmy1907 probably best not to. Incandescent lights produce a ton of heat, more heat than light in fact. You could use an Incandescent bulb to bake cookies - and they made a toy that dis just that (ezbake oven) Which poses a problem if you make it out of 3D printed plastics. So if you do want to use Incandescent, make it metal.

I've got buddies deployed in Iraq. To show them how much I don't care, I used to send them UN-care packages loaded with whatever my hand touched first at the thrift store. Popular items included but were not limited to an oil filter for a '92 Toyota Camry and one rollerblade. But this is downright diabolical. 3D printing never seemed more important. I love it. If you secured the lamp's cord at the correct point, it would actually use the cord as another linkage and it would pivot the lamp, and the lamp would move as the arm moved. That might be the way the original creator had it set up so that it wasn't limp-lamped.

".. And I am now wondering whether there is a way to put the filament back on the spool." About halfway through the video and I'd love to see what your latest take on this is in video format. CNC Kitchen has been making videos on the subject of 3D print/filament recycling for a while now and it is starting to look closer and closer to a reality for hobbyists. The main challenge I've been thinking about overcoming in DIY fashion is filament waste and 3D print destruction. Who has money for an industrial hard drive shredder?

Been there. I started other hobbies that I could include 3d printing. Like tabletop games and small woodworking-3d prints-IoT mixes. I also let friends and strangers ask for small prints for free and if they want large prints and many of them, I ask them to just buy the filament/resin for me. This keeps my printer in use. Edit: but if you don't want it. Donate it to a school, charity school, family or friend. It would be a good gift and learning experience for someone else.

You really should clarify very that specific filaments are needed to 3D print light switch covers, otherwise it's a major fire and safety hazard. That's why building codes dictate that they be made of specific materials. In fact, it's best not to encourage printing them regardless since most people won't bother checking requirements like that before printing.

Quick note about the folding stock. If you own any firearms under the category of pistol (read as AR style pistol specifically with a picatinny rail on the back), Printing the folding stock or even downloading the files may put you in an NFA violation (New York seems to be getting really aggressive about this). While constructive intent has never really been tried in court, you don't want to be the first so be cautious.

Just move to Belgium, where guns are so illegal you are allowed to walk around with 100% accurate looking replica's without an orange tip (this is not legal advise).

That jigsaw puzzle nastiness is one of the meanest and greatest things I've ever heard in my life. I've gotta get that in all black, as recommended!

Honestly, I hate to admit it, but I love your channel because you deliver practical prints with the humor someone who just prints peens. Don't feel bad about peppering in some of those useless print videos here and there; it won't chase anyone off.

The puzzle bit about printing it as a solid color got me, then in carbon fiber, then add in some extra pieces… I was laughing hard at the end of that 😂
