This video made me feel like the biggest drum nerd because I actually do know the exact alloy for cheap cymbals, it's B8 bronze, 92 percent copper, 8 percent tin. ... Gosh I'm a giant nerd lmao so here's my rating of the kits : - #1 : Good beginner kit. Cymbals could be upgraded but they get the job done. Please place the orange dot on top of the second tom tho, and use a proper patch on the bass drum head. If it's cracked replace it! I know it's expensive but come on, would you see a bass player use a broken string winded up with tape? 6.5/10 - #2 : Nice kit, Pearl Maple shells I bet? The tom are too big for me but... I see the Rogers Dynasonic, legendary snare... how could you guys miss it? :O Love the A customs, love the well organized stick bag. The tiny cowbell made me smile! You do space your toms a lot tho but that's 100% personal. Also, sorry to correct, but that is *not* duck tape! That is *camera* tape. It's much better, much pricier, does not leave traces, and many touring pros use it. I'd still give it a 7.5/10 cuz that snare is something else! - #3 : Sweet kit. Love the K's, nice tuning. I'd rock the hell out of that on tour! Love the Black beauty. 10/10 for me...! - #4 : Gretsch Renown is my guess, with a Slingy snare, offset lugs, that's a rare thing! Too much tape for me on the small tom but that's a matter of taste. Also that ride is ma-ssi-ve and you might have trouble with it getting in the way of chops from time to time...! I like the passport. This cat is ready to go on tour at any moment LMAO! 8/10 - #5 : I have Craiglist PTSD, please put a trigger warning before showing graphic images like this. Couldn't watch it. -11 - #6 : What can you say? You just wanna play that thang 10/10 no cap!

By the way, the HCS are brass and not B8. B8 is a bit above beginner cymbals. If we take Zildjian for example, Planet Z (brass) > ZBT/i (B8) > S (B12) etc

Paiste 2002 and Giant Beat are B8, hardly beginner cymbals. Those cymbals look like PST 3, which are made of brass. Kit #2 has old Pearl tom arms, but the lugs don't look like Pearl. I think those particular RIMS-type mounts are made by Gretsch. I don't recognize the lugs, but they might be the shorter lugs Gretsch put on their lower end drums. I don't recognize the badge on the bass drum, so I'm not sure if they're actually Gretcsh drums. (Also never heard anyone refer to it as camera tape - do you work in film? Everyone I know calls it gaff tape or gaffer's tape.) Kit #3 is a Pearl kit, possibly a Sesson or Masters from the 90s (bridge lugs, ISS tom mounts, power tom depths). The snare on #3 is a Pearl Sensitone. The bridge lugs give it away. The Black Beauty has Ludwig's imperial lugs, or more rarely tube lugs. The Gretsch kit is #5, you skipped one.
