for sacrificing souls, i would suggest sacrificing only half so you can have enough souls to heal throughout the rounds unless you have health upgrades

How about you try to play a game that i found? Its called HOURS. And its a single player action (and fighting if im not wrong) game. You have 8 characters but you start with one. Then after you complete at least 3 stages then you will unlock the next 3 characters. Each one with its own abilities and weapon. The other 4 characters will be unlocked by doing specific things (like completing the game on the hardest difficulty. Completing it without using your secret ability [which i will tell later] etc) every character can only have one secret ability that you can choose (it's called tempo. And you can choose which ability you need. For example: stopping time, skip the time, create a clone of yourself when you need more health to recover or need some backup. Etc) although your secret ability will have a limited time of use and a cooldown (that also includes in the abilities of your fighter but they dont have a time of use. They only have one use and then wait for the cooldown to finish) they also have multiplayer. But they did it on April's fool's day. Making you to only have bots. That will help you complete the levels more easy. But there will be more enemies and bots of enemies (the enemies bots only appear when you confront the boss) i think that's all of it. It's just an idea idk about your opinion.
