I feel bad for the people fooled by Popcap's nostalgia bait. "Oh we're gonna have an update to modern day now that Sea-Shroom is here" You poor souls. Modern Day was finished 7 years ago. What we got is what we got. There's nothing left for the main story. There's no reason for the rest of the PvZ 1 plants to be added to this game. Popcap's just adding them so they can get their greedy little hands on your money. I don't expect yall to listen anyway, so there really is no point in me writing this message, but hey, at least I tried.

Other than the Gravebuster, Sea shroom got a major redesign. Also, I think the game devs didn’t play test that first level where you placed a Lily pad on the solid grind. You shouldn’t be able to do that. Not the last time I checked. I think they just coded the entire lawn to be in water but some patches to act as if it is solid ground as seen when Zack places both a lily pad and a Power lily on the same tile.

This plant is the golden example of how little EA & Popcap care about pvz anymore, the only reason its here is nostalgia and you can tell, its locked behind the seed packets, its practically useless because of how little water is used in pvz, they didn't even bother making a new animation for the spawning of puddles, they could have easily made a rain animation but they just reused and recoloured the gravestone spawn animations and when the tide goes in, the seashrooms just die immediatately. The animations are also horrendous, like alot of new plants in pvz 2 being added its just a souless cashgrab and nostalgia bait. Easily one of the worst plants in the game, I'd argue its even worse than Tomb Tangler.

Sea-Shroom duplicates himself with the plant food only when there aren’t other ones around him but it’s absolutely a great plant and the more higher his level is the more are the Sea-Shrooms that he creates but at the same time it will be useless on levels with no water but thankfully Aqua-Vine will come out very soon.
