To me, Ultomato is a worse version of Jack O' Lantern. All it has over JOL is better range, but once you level JOL up that's not an issue. JOL deals far more damage, and incinerates hordes.

I think the reason the plant food effect destroys the plant is because Ultomato is a combination of tomato and ultimatum and so the plant food effect unleashes its ultimatum, which is to deal extreme damage but it destroys itself.

The reason the laser bounces around is because each laser attack last a certain amount of time. So if a zombie is killed during the strike but the lasers time is not up, it continues to attack the next zombie until it's time is up

well zack im gonna tell ya that the ultomato is op, why? well because when i was playing this game for the dartichocke quest from the conveyer belt level they did give some ultomato they were alot of zombies so i used an ultomato's plant food ability it almost wrecked the whole board it was on lvl 1 they were alot of guargantuars and armored zombies but it wrecked them that's why it's my favourite plant i dont have it yet but i'l get it soon!
