That's an absolute beast of a mixer! I absolutely love how quiet that thing is. It was kneeding that bread dough like it was nothing. They need to make a scraper beater for it and I'd actually be tempted to buy it when I'll need a replacement for my stand mixer. WOW I'm impressed.

This is wild!! What a monster, So many of these new mixers look to be based on a Kenwood platform, but this is even bigger than a Major!

The squeak is caused by the silicone gasket between the beater section and the main body. The gasket spins and as it does so it rubs against the main body. This is what causes the squeak. If you add some mineral oil there it goes away immediately. And it lasts for quite a while. You'll have to reapply it every so often, but typically the amount of oil you need is minuscule. Even a drop would be enough to do it three times. Usually I put some on my fingertip and just turn the mixer on low and let the machine run the gasket around a couple of times. You could also do it witth a Qtip, which lets you push the oil in between the gasket and the main body a little easier. Anyway, that's where the squeaky noise comes from. Just put a drop of mineral oil on it and poof, it's gone.

Very nice, Amy. It sounds like it is even quieter than the KA 8 quart Commercial mixer with the DC motor. As for scraping, maybe if you adjust the height of the beater, it might take care of some of the scraping issues. Any idea when you will be reviewing the Globe mixer? Thanks.

I had bought the same shape of this one in China couple years ago, but not same brand. for dough it works very well and much more better then k*****(because it is 800W DC motor and the perfect stainless steel dough hook, it can mix flour very fast and glove film in 10 min for 1kg flour), however when I am in Canada I cannot find this one. So happy the factory sell it to the US. Wish to get it soon

After watching this video 4 times now (LOL) I broke down & bought the mixer today. Amazon has a "lightening deal" for $343.99 right now (03/03/24) and my employer had given me a $375 Amazon gift-card that was burning a hole in my pocket. It was meant to be. I hope I love it as much as you do. I bought it because I like to make empanadas once a month and I have to break the dough recipe out into two batches because my KitchenAid can't do it all at once. I still love my Kitchenaid so I'll use it for small batches, and the Zacme' for large loads. Thanks for your review.

Is this a geared mixer or belt drive. In thinking it's so quiet because it may be belt driven, which may also explain the squeeking.
