These olive trees are at least 50-60 y.o. But in Greece there are two olive trees that are 3000 and 2700 years old and still have fruits..!

Snake looks like it could be a Javelin Sand Boa. Overall, the vast majority of snakes in Greece (and Europe in general) are harmless. No rattlesnakes or Cottonmouths over there, so I wouldn't worry!

From my fraternity days 45 years ago I can still recite the Greek alphabet in less than 10 seconds. Such a useful skill.

I would say my experience in Greece would be fairly similar to here in the US and for the level of golf the prices were comparable!

Olive trees are ageless. You can find 500-1000 year old trees no problem. some are here for 2000 years.
