I'm grateful for every time I'm able to get on the course. That said, sometimes when I am losing a friendly match with a friend it can get frustrating. When the competitive juices get flowing it can be hard to remember in the moment that you're doing something you love. I've gotten better with this, hope Micah can too. Guy just loves to play and wants to win when he does it. At least he's not swearing and breaking clubs like I've seen far lesser players do. I've heard him say so many times on different vlogs and vids how much he loves what he's doing and how grateful he is to be doing it. Hoping he can channel that in the moment.

Zac do you have any advice for someone who is looking to get into golf at age 30? I have played some in the past, but growing up baseball always took priority and I was terrible at golf. Nowadays, it seems like I can't figure out how to swing without my club face flying open and I basically shank everything. Its very frustrating. Are there any training tools for beginners to help them find their swing? My goal right now is to be able to consistently strike the ball well enough to shoot 18 holes without completely embarrassing myself lol. Surprisingly, the short game comes incredibly naturally to me. Its just anything outside of 80-100 yards that seems impossible.
@danmyers93723 жыл бұрын
Just an FYI re: your ball hitting Micahs putter on the 18th green: Rule 11 covers what to do if the player’s ball in motion hits a person, animal, equipment or anything else on the course. When this happens accidentally, there is no penalty and the player normally must accept the result, whether favourable or not, and play the ball from where it comes to rest. Rule 11 also restricts a player from deliberately taking actions to affect where any ball in motion might come to rest.
@danmyers93723 жыл бұрын
By the rules you should putted from where your hall came to rest after hitting Micahs putter. Now if you had tried to intentionally hit the putter to stop your ball rule 11.2 would apply: When Rule 11.2 Applies This Rule applies only when it is known or virtually certain that a player’s ball in motion was deliberately deflected or stopped by a person, which is when: A person deliberately touches the ball in motion, or The ball in motion hits any equipment or other object (except a ball-marker or another ball at rest before the ball was played or otherwise went into motion) or any person (such as the player’s caddie) that a player deliberately positioned or left in a particular location so that the equipment, object or person might deflect or stop the ball in motion
@eagledetection44513 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the explanation. I think it would been kind of a dick move to play it resting there. I know Tig left his club there, but that ball would've rolled off the green. I would have been comfortable just putting the ball where they think it would've ended up.

@@eagledetection4451 the dick move was leaving the putter there in the first place.
