When I traveled here back in 2012, the course was in pristine condition. I do not remember any of the brown spots like I see in your video, but that is minor compared to how cool this course is. In the middle of nowhere. #15 was the hole of my round on this trip. Knocked it to about 5' and made the birdie putt. My round was 86. Did not beat my handicap, (10), but what a fun round. Cheers and thanks for sharing. A nice flashback for me.

Yooo, that missed par on 13 was unreal. It literally looked like the ball just went around the hole. It was headed straight for n just decided last second to take a detour arounf the right edge. Unbelievable 🤨

If you ever find yourself in San Diego, no I don't recommend Torrey pines, I'd say check out Steele Canyon golf course. Or The Journey at Pechanga in Temecula.

This course used to be in such pristine condition too. Tough winter and summer. It’s interesting because hole 11 used to be hole 10. I heard they had to change some holes.

I blame the cup design at that course for those lip outs😝 the plastic inside goes all the way to the surface. I haven't seen that before. If it was turf at the top and plastic at just the bottom of the cup alot of those lip outs would have fallen

it was a bad winter (winter kill).... usually in much better shape. Due to it's remoteness and elevation changes it is a task to water properly too! Hard course and location to keep pristine...
