Zimmer is just amazing in his music. It calms you and can bring feelings you may have lost in the past. Ease you in some peace when the floods of memories come in crashing and sometimes his music can overwhelm you. I think of the places I have been in this world as a Navy Corpsman, what I have seen, the smells, the sounds, the cries. Those that have gone, given their lives, their sacrifice. Never to forget them.

Sad movie to make if you know all the history of that time. Only knew one Japanese family and they enriched my existence with understanding those who knew family values from Japanese heritage and my son was exposed to that culture in a unique way and demonstration of the best of what was Japan before world war II. They were in internment camps for natural born citizens during the war and times United States felt threatened. He is partly named after them and I had honorary chop sticks. They kept me from being beat many times from a mentally ill mother while my father was working to help vets who were suffering. My brother was twin with more than once had his own things to deal with. I know where he is and he knows things I do not and trust his judgment the most regarding his solution.
