Follow @bookmyhunger We visited Zaffran Restaurant Lower Parel best know for its mughlai cuisines. We started with their Starter juice Water melon and the then We tried
1. Platter which has 4 starters Mutton Seekh Kebab, Chicken Seekh Kebab, Basa Fish & Chicken Tikka
Mutton Seekh was so soft & tendered, made in a red masala, it was too spicy & green chatni added more spice to it, the combination was just so good in taste..
Chicken Seekh made in green masala was equally soft, tendered and juicy.
Then we tried their basa fish, it was like melting in the mouth, no spicy but the taste along with green chatni was awesome
Chicken Tikka made in red masala, deep marinated with properly roasted chicken and it was tooo spicy and delicious.
Chicken Banjara made in greens masala properly deep marinated, juicy and perfect to the taste.
In the main course we tried here is Mutton Nalli Nihari served hot with thick gravy, properly cooked mutton too tendered and was tasting too good with rumaili roti and it was much of spicy & tasty
Now it’s the time for their popular Mutton Awadhi Biryani served in a classic aluminium pot made in authentic masala with long grains basmati rice, it was full of flavour with tendered mutton pieces which was soft and tendered and I must say aroma & flavours are just perfect to taste. Too masaledar and spicy
#phirni at the end is the must try desert. It’s like melting in the mouth
Overall, we enjoyed the foods here and recommend this to every one if you are indian and mughlai food lovers.
