Believe me, Shoaib himself had confessed how egoistic diplomats in PCB take out personal grudges on criketers. He was canvassing even to remove non cricketers from PCB even. Pakistan cricket team was the greatest cricket force after the West Indies in its prime. Bowling line up, Wasim Waquar, Shoaib, Abdur Razzaq Azhar Mehmood, Saqqi, Afridi. Batting Ijaz, Salim Malik, Imran Nazir, Inzy. Oh fuck I so enjoyed watching Pakistan dominate the white teams and restore some pride for Asia. Shoaib is the most mis treated legend of Pakistan. Batting average of 29 (that too coming lower down the order).... Leave all this. Stats don't matter much for bowling all-rounders. What matters is consistency and impact. Razzaq used to finish 1 out of 50 matches. This is not acceptable. Afridi had a greater impact than him. He single-handedly carried the teams to knockouts, whether it be Finals of 2007 WT20, 2009 WT20 or 2011 WC semis. He was more consistent. Even in his later years (2015-17), he had that flair. Razzaq was "burnt out" by 2011.... And stop this shit about calling anyone a legend. The "legend" tag isn't easy at all to get. Agera wagera log legend nhi hote. You have to play consistently for longer periods of time. Even our Ishant Sharma has 270+ Test wickets (not ODI or T20). But he isn't close to being our legend. Ajit Agarkar has 300 wkts in ODI. We consider him a great player, but not a legend....
