Yes, technically you can prove that you can do the thing on a standard-tuned single coil country guitar, but at the end of the day, take those same riffs and play them on a down-tuned humbucker guitar, and the reality is it sounds nastier, heavier, stronger, cooler precisely because it's lower and deeper. Lower notes have a gravity to them that higher notes just don't, lower notes sound like they're deep underground shaking the earth while the higher the note gets, the more airy and high in the sky it seems, it's just the nature of how the brain perceives things, so yes you can play djent-style riffs on a standard country guitar, but it's not exactly the same just like the guy who plays Necrophagist songs on a flute, it's fun and impressive and for the lolz, but less people will be going to that concert with a sense of seriousness because it doesn't hit the same, yeah you can get the idea, but play that exact song in a lower register with a guitar that's better at tight fat lowend, and you'll have more stank face, you'll nod your head a little more, the song itself will sound like its taking itself more seriously like training vs fighting. The "can you djent in standard" is like "can you enter in a drift race with an underpowered car?" Sure, you might be able to drift around the track, and it might seem pretty dang cool without the other cars on the track doing all the same things only faster while beating you to the finishline, so ya you CAN enter the race, you just won't technically win.

it can in a controled enviroment and with the right plugin/pedals... now in a live setting, with real high gain (a rat or a tube screamer into a overly saturated tube amp) it does not work, it squeels to much and sounds thin... a noise gate helps but does not remove all the feedback, maybe with a hot stack or a single coil with noise supresion?

I never played a tele (or any single coil) and in such high gain live on a stage. I imagine that would be a nightmare of feedback . Or maybe you can work it out idk
