South Africa, when we get a chance as a country, we need to give Ntate John Kani his flowers while he can still smell them.... That intro just stamped the fact that Osama is more than a song, it's a Prayer, a Celebration Song, a Declaration of Victory all wrapped in an Amazing Melody Thank you @ZakesBantwini

This is a song of the decade hands down. I mean we don't even know the meaning of the words in the song yet we feel a strong connection towards it. Truly it's no surprise when many people call it an anthem in South Africa. To us it's an African Anthem.

I agree how can we make it a South African anthem a song that has no meaning also it's in tongues who can understand it except for someone who has a gift from God to translate the lyrics of the song to something we should know or understand only then we can sing along as a nation but that is if it's interesting .

@@mrpoetry6264 I have to disagree. South Africans have beautiful voices, just listen to their House music - which is the best in the world. I also listen to Afropop which, strangely enough, is dominated by them - I think Afropop is where their voices really shine. I like Afrobeats too, but if I had a choice to either party in Lagos or Johannesburg, I'm choosing Johannesburg without doubt.

Music should not be limited to the term our music, It is universals. Nigerians don't speak this way... the OUR is known but, to be truly global you must be non-XENOPHOBIC oriented or stay unexportable. - I'm talking here to all S.A, GH and other Africans rubbing shoulders with The Big Brother (The Giant of Africa) who understands the game way back over 40years before the internet -Lol doesn't take the rant seriously.

This song is incredible! i discovered this song a few years ago, realizing it's sung in tongues makes me feel so emotionally connected. It conveys a message of just being and having faith, reminding us not to expect too much. The emotions in this song resonate deeply, offering a more existential perspective on life-not about what you are to the world, but rather what you are within it. It feels like a fearless warrior’s anthem-soulful and engaging. The beauty of the African languages adds to its richness, calming the spirit. It invites us to meditate on its endless meaning, encouraging us to dance and simply be in the moment. Just have belief in yourself and discover the deeper power within. Embrace the now! ❣
