Instead of paper, use painter's tape and put the glue side facing the socket. That way when you pull the socket out of the screw head, the tape still stays on and isn't left anywhere. Then you just pull it out with your fingers.

The Chevy spark is essentially a daewoo matiz, the Ford fiesta, Honda fit, Scion iQ & xa, Mitsubishi mirage are all nugget like, there are some JDM options but like these Renault's you'll probably be dealing with rust

"Special square thing" is a 3/8" drive. Instead of using a socket end that is where your ratchet clicks right in directly.
