amazing stufF ~ Zakk's playin is freaking *miraculous* & his singin, super cool!!!!! His note placement is so precisely placed; holding it completely together at a constant, hyper-fast speed to the timing beat & melody line -- without veering off hardly at all -- amongst, *literally*, hundreds & hundreds of spewing notes!

Hendrix left us with his work, but as a 61yr old drummer, child drummer at 8, I've learned at the end of the road influence is the resin that saturates us when the work is done, in stone if you will. This is Zac or DelZako I call him, showing bits, and chunks of influence he has from Jimi . Big Chunks of Fire Man. He simply embraces influence. Play what you like to love man .

Like most of the people there, Z came to worship at Jimi's alter. I'll bet each time he went into the crowd, it was to find someone wearing a Hendrix shirt, so he could gaze upon the greatness while he played. Zakk only calls one guy boss and there's little I respect more. What a job. I too have a hard time choosing between a SG and a V.

I've been to a couple of EH shows. . . Heard clips of hundreds of others through the years. Nobody will touch Pali Gap. Sad. Especially, considering the Cox years. And Juma is still around if I'm not mistaken. Now. . . Legendary guitarists! We've heard the classics a million times. Somebody get in the lab and put Jimi's deepest groove on display.

This is great! A genius with a very unique voice and character on guitar paying tribute to a completely different one. Sounds at the same time like Zakk and like Jimi, which hardly can be wrong. Plus, it destroys the myth, that you have to play a Strat, to sound like Hendrix. The real tone comes from somewhere else....
