It's amazing, in this year Zakk was already playing with Ozzy Osbourne for 5 years. And there he's playing parking lots during his spare time, to work on his solo carreer. Hats off!

One of the best ???? How many you putting in there to get to one of the best. I love Zakk. I really do. But id say he is the 3rd best to work with Ozzy. I put him behind Randy of course. Also i put him behind Jake. So he isnt even one of the best for the man that put him on the map.

@@Desekration_Band Dude look at the two albums Jake did with Ozzy. Jake fell out with Ozzy because Jake wrote the songs. That Ozzy took credit for. Jake kept the band together. While Ozzy partied until he could party no more. Jake doesn't get no where near the credit he deserves.

@@Aenima308 back in the 90s they used to cut a triangle shaped strip out of the center of the bread and put in the meat, cheese, and whatnot. After making the sub, they would put that strip of bread on top of the hoagie.

Zakk met Ed and Gary in the fall of 1992 for A Guitar World article and iirc Ed mentions how no one ever plays the Sweet Home Alabama lick correctly bets Zakk “a dollar damn fifty” of he can play it right and shows him the proper way afterwards. At this point he had already met his LS heroes and was doing it right!!

Because it is a bullshit memo. There are no real rules in music, if you play a lot of notes interesting, and are comfortable with that language, then that is that. Not everyone speaks the same way, some can only speak basic language, some find it easy to speak complex vocabulary. Guitar solos are a way to speak.
