Zakk is the best, I met him playing his guitar in front of his wifes mothers house and went up to him, not knowing who he was and said your really good and should be in a band. He replied to me, have you heard of Ozzy Osbourne, I said ya….. He then told me he was the guitarist for Ozzy, I felt so stupid! He gave a CD of Blacklabel Society and to this day still have it. Zakk is a down to earth guy and is the best. I hope he reads this and replies back and remembers that day. Great person, father and husband. I’ll always remember that day, Thanks Zakk.

This song and this man on the video reminds me of my Dad. The toughest man I've ever known. Crossed oceans and fought through storms his entire life and survived to tell he's story. How come there are bad comments about the video? It's actually quite amazing. Tom is in all of us. Tom is us when we go past the breaking point and stop caring. Tom is us when we simply lose it all. Tom is a very human feeling, that we all want to feel sometimes, when we are tired and we don't get any time to recharge.

The genius of the video is it is a reverse timeline. Meaning the beginning is the end and the end is the beginning. Like returning to the scene of a crime.

A message to my father... The things I endured with you... Without you... Thank you. In the deepest part of my heart you made. Thank you dad. It was hard. But this jam puts it in perspective for me. You are my father. Watching me succeed or fail. But the last thing I want you to know is that I love you. Forever Thank you dad. RIP Marvin Niiha Sr. And all the dads out there. Believe in the story that you sell For the Sleeping Dogs that lie They are live and well, live and well Gone but not forgotten You cut me down just to watch me bleed Gone but not forgotten I gave you the last word and that's the last thing you take from me Gone but not forgotten You cut me down just to watch me bleed Gone but not forgotten I gave you the last word and that's the last thing you take from me The last thing you take from me The last thing you take from me

Back in 92? Me and my best friend worked at a music store that Zakk agreed to do a clinic for, which was basically him jamming with a local drummer and bass player. Lucky for us, the local drummer was Scott Travis and the bass player was my friend and band mate Andrew Mcneely. He was exactly who he is everytime you see him in a interview or whatever. Very cool, very, very funny. A man among men as a guitarist. One week later we did Dime Bags clinic. Too much.

@@les.claypool.gaming6795 Infant Annihilator is the band with the most uncomfortable videos for me. And you wouldn't expect a technical death metal band to make something out of the topic of space, but they do.

Lost my best friend/ my brother 2 years ago. The day he passed, this song kept popping up. Never heard it before until that day. Song means so much to me my girlfriend got me a wallet with a pic of us going hunting for the last time on the back and quoted “gone but not forgotten”. Best present I’ve ever received . I miss ya brotha

Was listening to a great song for the 1st time, and realized that i live about 3 hours from the Interstate signs in the background. So this was filmed in either NC or SC? Makes it even more of a curiosity.
