Bandai reps are so nice. My boss used to meet with them for lunch, and they are passionate about their properties. I once had a disagreement over a design choice with him because he didn't realize the character we were making had different hair color in a specific costume. During their lunch, they pointed this out to him, and he informed me of his mistake.

Man, I hope I can get that skilled with building (just started really getting into Gunpla recently. Your channel helped with that, so I wanted to say thanks :) ). Only real question I have with GBWC is,, in regards to building your scene, can you make your own parts out of bits of plastic that you cut yourself (from like a plastic stock sheet), or is the only way to get additional parts to kitbash from other Bandai sets. One of the rules for the contest confuses me: it says that Bandai parts must be used in the construction of your piece, and that bootlegged parts, 3D-printed parts, and counterfeit parts are banned, as per what the GBWC website says. It does not mention other parts of your entry piece that you make yourself, and since in dioramas like these it's obvious that some home-made parts are used, I'm wondering to what extent this rule applies to when it comes to any part that is not from an official Bandai kit (in other words, is kit-bashing the only way you can add parts to a piece, or can you make some of your own parts?).
