I just tried the part swap using the 1/144 scale Geara Doga and Jagd Doga. Looks great! The hands are the same size and the scale is a lot better between the two suits. HIGHLY recommend if you want the unicorn version make it from the 1/144 scale. You wont be disappointed!

@@matthewdenz1045 Very late reply here and it seems that it does work, Both kits uses the standard 2 peg & hole system for the backpacks and it seems that they do work there though you might have to lengthen the Geara Doga's backpack pegs to make it fit with the Jagd Doga's chunkier back but I can't confirm that at the moment

Daban used the Geara Dogas inner frame without sacrificing the scale, making the Jagd Doga feel like an MG. The Daban Jagd Doga is basically a revamped version of the RE 1/100

Hey Zach, may have been mentioned already but... if Gundam Wiki is to be believed, the arm from the Geara Doga should be smaller than that of the Jagd Doga. It only lists the overall height of the Geara Doga at 20.0m and the Jagd Doga at over 29m overall height, but with a 21m head height.. I just happened to recently catch a bit of its appearance in Unicorn and thought the right arm looked a bit small compared to the body (just like you noted in your review). The maths on how to determine what the arm size should be is too geeky, even for me.

Anyone got any ideas where I can find this kit? I've never bought a P-Bandai kit before so I'm curious, would they restock or release more at a later date? I notice when I google it all I find is the P-Bandai site with a "closed pre-orders" button, and maybe some stuff for JP Amazon which I question the legitimacy of. I got the HG, but I'd love to have a larger version to go with the Sazabi Ver. Ka I just picked up. Plus, if I get into scribing, it'd be fun to try detailing it up a bit. Edit: a year later... and stll no sign of this kit anywhere :c Big sad...

if they use an MG Geara Doga frame for a hypothetical MG Jagd Doga i think it will suffer from the same issue that they used an RG Gundam Mk-II's frame for the RG Sinanju, as in being unstable, the only right way is to make an entirely new frame.
