The 30MM line is just so damn fun to build. All the customization options make every kit an absolute blast in my opinion.

It's just a bummer if you only get a basic kit, I know that since I got a basic Zaku green Portanova as a gift, and it leaves something to be desired, especially when you live where any Gunpla kits are harder to come by. Thankfully Bandai started to make sets that had some of the expansion runners included like these that make them more interesting and bring out the main gimmick of the line.

Thanks for the review Zach, I immediately got 2 sets like you recommended when they first dropped because I wanted doubles of all the clear blue blades. Also, the word you're looking for is polarized (referring to the clear blue plastic with the iridescence).

Bandai needs to market this series to the west a lot more. It would remind a lot of people of Bionicle/Hero Factory, but in the best way possible. Hell, it might light a fire under LEGO and inspire them to re-release the series.

Spinatio Knight is a very popular kit and not readily available. It will be re-released next month, so I would love to have it!

You didn't mention it, but the default sword can be stored behind the shield, in the rectangular slot above the shield handle.

Definitely a prelude to the new fantasy 30MM knights which look nicer (in picture at least). I gave him the small scarf from the cloak 30MM set which barely fits but it gives off a nice DS Artorias vibe (You can kinda pose him like Artorias too!).

It’s a minor gripe, but can’t they just give us a hand back for every hand? It’s such a small amount of plastic. Technically it isn’t needed, but all those extra hands would be way more useful if they were complete.

The only thing that put me off from this kit is the side skirt part, thats just too huge, and the shield handle, its way too up on the shield like, thats not how someone wield a shield
