I actually really love the rubber soles, I had my Spiegel standing on one foot ON HIS TIPPY TOES for years without falling over. These kits are honestly rad, especially for the price you can usually get them for.

Sadly, the manual says "this form not replicated in this kit." If you do want the 1/100 wrap around wings, you've got to find the original 1/100 HG from the 90's. The wild thing is, the backpack for that old kit actually fits perfectly in the back of the newer 2002 MG (they share the same 2 peg structure.) Its awesome that the 90s kit has a cross compatible wing shield right out of the box!

I love my old 1/100 Master Gundam as a highschool kid. It does has a cloak gimmick that its first MG don't have. So that means both are compatible to both kits? I never tried that even I don't have an MG Master yet. 😅

Master gundam is stylized after a bat I believe. Bats are considered a symbol of luck and good fortune in Hong Kong.

I just want to note that the hinge for the cockpit is there to compress so the kits could easily cross their arms. The designs don't really allow for it, so I've found it very nice on my MG God Gundam.

Dude, Bandai didn't released all of the MG G Gundam kits they announced at that hobby expo years ago (like Maxter, Dragon and Nobel, *especially* Nobel), so it's very unlikely they'll do a 2.0 for the designs that did got released, like Shining, Master and God Gundam (sadly) Besides, they can't leave their Astray and Unicorn recolors unattended 😂

I love G Gundam, people call it shallow, but if you were in love in 80s Hong Kong cinema it is just steaming with all the cultural references. Master Asia's techniques, horse's names have all been insipired by Jin Yong's novels, a large part of the soundtrack was recorded in Cantonese. Such a fun show to watch.

Man, I love this kit but for me it will always be associated with me breaking my God Hand nippers on it. I got so excited for the kit that I built it in one sitting. Absolutely worth it until my tired brain decided to try and clip the wires with my God Hands. Needless to say I found out that the Darkness Finger can still trump the Hand of God... Now the kit stands tall at my desk reminding me to stay focussed.

I love master gundam desing, that bat shaped head is unique! i just collect 1/144 so i have the HG master gundam that come with the horse, it has the partsforming wing cape but the extend forearm one not. I hope that bandai make a RG Master gundam with those gimmicks :D

The old NG 1/100 can actually do the wing cloak, those kits actually hold up pretty well considering how old they are. To be honest I could see them doing this guy in the Hi Res line to go with its God Gundam.

They do the figure in the soft plastic because figures have very small and fine details that are hard to have injection plastic flow into, at least with the technology during that time period.

I just got a gao gai gar kit and a gundam universe barbatos lupus Rex figure in the same condition from usag today great way to get nice kits with out breaking the bank😎👍🏿🤗

p.s. hope the wife is doing good with her health shit. My mom had cancer and she did the "treatments" and it ended up her in a curled up ball of pain and suffering till she died. Master Gundam was one of the most articulate kits even as a HG i had! I loved how he came with Fusaiki, i probably fkd the horses name up but that was one of the greatest kits ever! Make sure to build horsey correctly or you will break it like i did. FK! But ya Master Gundam was and still is one of the coolest kits, loved the wings!

1/20 figures' plastic material are slightly soft and durable plastic because of shock absorption and prevents breakage. My MG Shining/God kits have both Domon figures the mobile trace suit and a normal suit. 😁😁 It sometimes fun to paint like a detailed miniature.

No worries on the kung fu lol, kung fu is just Cantonese for “great skill” There’s like, 300 forms of Chinese kung fu. What most people imagine is either Wing Chun or Wushu. Wushu is a theatrical style not meant for fighting. Love the kit, it’s aged surprisingly well! I just got it out of my storage unit and on a shelf.

Have the MG Gid gundam and those rubber feet are the best idea ever idk why they havent tried to implement it into more kits the stability from it makes so many poses possible that other kits with the same amount of articulation could never do without a stand
