Fishing is getting tough here in San Diego, Ca. Another lake set to close and be drained for maintenance soon. My local, closest water body has been drained down 20-25' and all cattails are now out of the water. One of these days I'm moving out of California.

Thats probably the best part of fishing. If every day was guaranteed smash em and there was no challenge it wouldn't be near as fun. The challenge but potential is what made most of us fall in love with this sport at a young age. I've lost many more tournaments than I've done well in but one cast can change everything. It’s just like any other place though. Still have to pattern them just like bigger fish, the size scale is just different
