Currently, my biggest producer by far (in a lake filled with largemouth and threadfin shad) is a 2” Cotton Cordell spoon (with an upsized treble hook). I just swim it and the bass hammer it. Just this week I’ve caught bass from 1 to over 4 lbs.

@Zaldaingerous Жыл бұрын
Is Pickwick still getting slammed with tournaments or has some of the pressure moved to other lakes?
@256bassfishing Жыл бұрын
@@Zaldaingerous The pressure has moved on to other lakes fortunately and to help the fishery rebound they are planning a restocking program. I heard it may be Florida strain, but that's not 100% sure. Last year the tournament pressure was horrendous and the amount of bass killed was outrageous.

My son used wd40 on bait on a skunk day and got hit over and over. Lol. No idea why besides maybe weird looking as wd is water repellent so maybe made some weird water around bait. They can’t smell oils so maybe it’s scentless and makes weird water? Good ol wd.
