Nice story, but the characters were confusing at times. I mean, the sudden change in their behavior was weird. Honestly, I'm a huge fan of Nabila Abar, and this book was kinda disappointing in comparison to her last ones. Overall, the novel was bearable ❤❤ and I also loved your commentary 🤣❤️😍.

58:24 Whoever is blaming him for belting her needs to read this part again. He tried to hide her sins and save her. And as a police officer, it's such a huge thing to do. It takes a lot of guts to jeopardize your oath and the teachings you receive for becoming a police officer. I don’t agree with his behavior or abusive ways, but he did what was right at that moment. Being a 16-year-old doesn't automatically give you a pass to harm anybody.
