Nintendude 64 He was a greenhorn in some ways, even with the discipline of D’Amato and Kevin Rooney. Just look at his fight with Bonecrusher Smith. While Smith hardly fought Tyson toe-to-toe, there were several moments in which Tyson looks visibly frustrated with the tactics used to stifle his offense, echoing what more cagey fighters would do to defeat him years later, like Buster Douglas and especially Holyfield.

One of these AGDQs they're going to assign a button to a person: up, down, left, right, a, b, start, select, and have all those people play a game together and knowing when to push their assigned button and still beat a game faster than most people with a complete controller. @spl4zer4705 жыл бұрын
I noticed it a lot during this run, but one thing Whitegoose talked about in his “Speedruns of the Decade” video, was how much different it is when the commentators hype up the runners, and what they are doing. Don’t get me wrong, there was a lot of commending them, but there was also a lot of “get out of Jail free cards” “they’ve done this a million times” it’s just buffering buttons” “all they have to do” “It’s pretty rhythmic” and stuff like that, making me feel as if it’s not as difficult as it looks, even though I knOW it’s difficult. Great run, still enjoyed it, just some nit-picky stuff.
@nintendork92074 жыл бұрын
I think the "get out of jail card" shouldn't apply as a critique of commentary, it was pretty appropriately used, to imply that those conditions put them from an unfavorable situation to a very favorable situation, which is definitely the implication. Yes, obviously it's not easy, but it is much easier than the alternative, which is killing the run entirely/taking a loss and costing time. Aside from that, I'll grant your critique is fairly valid. Runners and commentators gotta work just a little bit more towards conveying the weight of their speedruns(but we do have to remember that it's also about trying to explain games that show up somewhat regularly in an entertaining and non-repetitive fashion, so we could forgive them a bit here).
