I see why Bruce Mwape dropped Mapepa, once she scored that goal against Togo, she decided that she would always charge the goal. The girl declared before the tournament that she wanted to fulfil individual goals (presumably) in order to get an international contract, she played accordingly..Bruce Mwape does not suffer selfish players, and I would not be surprised that that is why he left Racheal Kundananji from the team for more than a year. Racheal is a very intelligent woman, and she probably reflected on what happened, and has become one of the most consummate team players. Another person who has suffered the ire of Bruce Mwape is Margaret Belemu, an undisciplined defender who would adventure far up the field, and leave her defensive assignment open. I remember the game against Germany where even though she was out of position she made such a lackluster effort to return to her position that Racheal Kundananji came from behind her and outran her to her defensive post. Some of these girls are stubborn, and they need to taught a lesson.

It was not a fair call. The referee was clearly told to give South Africa a penalty. She gave one before, but she was overruled. The whole tournament was unfair. The South African CAF president, the Tsotsi called Matsepa, banned Barbara Banda from this tournament, because 2 months before it, she destroyed South Africa by scoring 2 of goals in 3-0 Zambian romp. Poetic Justice has happened. South Africa and their fake WAFCON championship were eliminated from the Olympics, on a dubious penalty given to Nigeria. Unfortunately for them, but fortunately for everyone else, Matsepa cannot manipulate the Olympics qualifying series

That being said, poetic justice is being served: Zambia has qualified for the Olympics and South Africa has failed. Furthermore, the most expensive transfer in female football histosty, Rachel Kundananji, scored again today, and had a spectacular assist for Bay FC football team in San Francisco today. The second most expensive transfer in female football history, Barbara Banda, scored, assisted, drew the winning penalty when her Orlando FC football team defeated their opponents 3 days ago. As you can see, we Zambians are not thinking of the likes of South Africa.

Furthermore, the encounter occurred outside the 18. The reality is that this referee was paid off by. The European women euros is on going and the football being exhibited by their worse (eliminated) teams is far superior to what we are seeing here. Nigeria women's football is far superior to any in Africa. Nigeria drew recently with Canada (a highly rated team) and also with Portugal. I doubt any of the remaining semi-finalists will be able to avoid defeat agianst these two sides.
