I think what the Bauchums demonstrate is how intentional couples have to be when raising children. I also think they are a wonderful example of how following Christ while raising children really is the only answer. To adopt 7 is selfless. It is inviting 14 different gene pools into your home. It is hard enough when passing on ones own genetics to hope that your offspring will inherit the best and leave the rest behind. It's much easier to close the eyes and say I have my biological two, somebody else's children are going to be someone else's problems. But the Bauchums had a beautiful, heartfelt vision. Over the years I have looked at them at times in envy and other times in wonder and admiration. "How" I have asked myself did they really fix their hearts to adopt not one but 7. The answer is "God." I admire them, I respect them and I pray that God continues to pour blessings upon blessings on them and their children. Voddie is an example of the awesome things that happen when a man steps up to become the protective covering for his home. Bridget is a wonderful example of a woman who knows how to humbly submit to her husband all the while knowing how to take charge to ensure thieir children are well educated and stay grounded. A lot of people think even 25 is too young to marry. However, Bridget and Voddie got married when he was just 19 and together they have built there own little village within a village of well behaved, intelligent, Christian children.

Hi, love your simplicity. Is there a way I can actually get to Pastor Voddie and his wife please? Like personally? Thank you once again. Needed something to see and seeing that there's a family seeking nothing but bringing up an upcoming generation in the love of God is absolutely overwhelming. Thank you.

it is a family of boys....wow. I have four kids very close in age, they get me tired ever now and then cause you to continuously be talking. But it is very interesting because each is unique and his/her own needs different from others. I cant trade life with them for anything. Nice video.

Be offended but there is only one Savior for the world. Christ Jesus. You need Him.
