Oh and that's going to be our arriving drive from Chania airport to Frangokastello... We have been there many years ago and yeah I was curious to see what are the current road conditions nowadays.. Thank you for the ride! ✌

I have travelled this road many, many times. It used to be just terrible that required a lot of effort to make it to and from Sfakia- Brysses. They definitely have improved the road. Be that as it may, the money poured was invested the wrong way. For votes they fixed this slow moving road instead of creating 2-3 long tunnels to and from Sfakia. The reasoning was that the villages would have died. Maybe. The truth is that without these tunnels, southern Crete development in the Perfecture of Chania has been hindered. A lot more people would have visited the area if the trip time was drastically reduced and would have brought more life to the area. I guess a few votes more are better than the prosperity of the region… Thank you for this and other videos you have posted. Crete lives in my heart every day!!!

in Hora Sfakia you have to go to fournos markos niki to buy the only full caroupi dakaki (small dakos without gluten) : a wonder of lightness and crispiness
