We absolutely LOVE Platanias and we’ve been there twice at Effi hotel ( down by the street where you used to go and play the “machines”). Gorgeous! Thank you Gelu & Roxy

Platanias is a great place...One place i would say to visit,just 10 mins inland is Drakiana Taverna..Great food and a lovely setting by the river. Great to see you mentioned The Ruin Bar,had many a great night in there. Also love Rock & Rose and My Place.

Hello Zameer! Missed you by a few hours. We left on Saturday morning. Next time you should visit Upper Platanias with its old houses and streets. The old village also has a breathtaking view of the city and the surrounding landscape. The WW2 museum under the church at the top of the village is also worth a visit. Best wishes form Finland

Speed cameras, speed bumps , fines etc will slow the traffic on that long road- government need to act on that. - Good walking tour , Zameer. 😎👌

I don't know yet about the hot springs, there are daily boats from Santorini to Heraklion, and from Heraklion to Malia you can go by bus or taxi it's around 30 km away from the airport.

It's about 15 to 25 don't exactly, you will find a stop, there are many shops selling the tickets.
