I love this song (and everything else they´ve done.) Absolutely fantastic vocals! All the love in the world to the kings of Power Metal!

yeah, it's in the CD manual; they give credit to Hans Zimmer - they just rearranged the song

Time is running so fast This moment that you live Instantly everything is past And you wonder where the time has gone When you were young You thought I can do that tomorrow But in moments the years have gone You feel that you are too old, now it's too late [Pre-Chorus:] Live, and make true all of your dreams When you are young Memories are gold, when you are old [Chorus:] Just Memories of Time Live forever over our lives They will see the future To the end of the time This little moment that we live here Don't let us waste it in vain Let's sail at full speed straight on Every single dream Is made to come true for all of us When we believe in the future And what it will bring to us Look behind The curtain of the world You'll see how beautiful all could be If you take challenge of this wonderful life

About two years ago when I first discovered power metal, this was the second band I ever listened to, the first being freedom call. I had only listened to freedom call's music for a long time there, and I just took a random leap of faith trying this album out. I will never forget how much this album enchanted me. It's so fucking amazing.

You should try Dragonland and Stratovarius, they are also great. Strato is a "must" for Power Metal listeners. Other great bands are Rhapsody, Ancient Bards, Kamelot, Galderia, Cain's Offering, Nautiluz, Sonata Arctica, Dark Moor, Ariadna Project, Dragonfly, Luca Turilli, Tierramystica, also Nightwish.

It is the same melody. Several metal bands has covered it including children of bodom. Cinematic music always has huge impact on metal, especially power metal.

2:42 "I sat there watching The Rock (directed by Michael Bay).... and I thought "this OST is fuckin' cool" *Eyes glaze over as it zooms into a silly Nicolas Cage face* This is what I've always imagined when I listened to this part....not a bad melody to use/alter/make your own though, one of my favorites ever in any musical form

because most Americans are brainwashed into thinking only bands you see on TV are worth listening to :/ i'm American - but i almost never listen to any American bands (save for Kamelot and a couple others). for me metal in the U.S. is either dead or so commercialized it could never be listenable for anyone who likes stuff like Dreamtale :p

Why do power metal bands insist on vocals? They all sound exactly like short awkward dudes that cant sing. Make music, stop singing. The first half of this song illustrates my point.
