Zamzam Pullman Hotel Makkah to Haram

This is to illustrate how long it takes to walk and the journey to get the Masjid al Haraam from Pullman hotel in the clock tower. There are two lifts to come down with, the first is the hotels own lift and then you have to take the clock tower lift to the ground floor which exits through the Abraj al Bait shopping centre into the Haram.
I wouldn't recommend this hotel, although it is right in front of the masjid. At busy times, the lifts get packed and takes longer to walk to the masjid.

Hotel Anjum is one of the newer hotel located on the north side of the new extension and it seems to be a favourite for many travel agents to book the hotel. But it is a slightly longer walk to the haram, as you have to walk through the new extension and also out of the way in terms of having access to restaurants. Watch this space, we will inshAllah do a walk from Hotel Anjum and surrounding area!

Back in 2017 i stayed in Dar ul Ghufran (Safwa Towers). I just need to ask, as shown in the Video Pullman ZamZam Reception area is on Floor 11. So in Clock tower lift (first lift while coming up) you will choose again Floor 11 for coming up ? My only confusion about two different lifts may have two different flooring naming system. Thanks Jazaak Allah Khair.

Assalamualaikum. From what I can remember you would take the hotel lift to get to the hotel lobby and then after exiting the hotel you would then take the Clock Tower lift down to the Haram exit floor. This can be confusing especially if you are going to take elderly parents who want to go the masjid on their own. Hope this helps

But I think as shown in the video, Hotel Lobby using Hotel lift is P11, only wanted to ask, other Makkah Tower lift we also need to use P11 for Hotel lobby. Thanks.

I have stayed in clock tower fairmont hotel in jan 2018 and it was pretty good hotel. I have also stayed in swissotel Makkah it is also a good hotel both are very near to haram.

i had same bad experience in pullman zam clock tower , it takes alot time to reach haram and mostly elevators will get jamed often near salah ur stuck in ur floor or lift comes late , beside that u need to change 2 lifts , 1st go to p11 then to ur floor which is ridiculous , it doesnot happen anywhere then u need to cross whole mall below , i lost few salah or became late bcz of such bad system and distance is alot , its almost touching the kabuter pigeon chalk plus time to come down , beside that the rooms were not that good as they shud be of 5 star , all rooms are not same , it can happen you have booked thinking it would be great view to kabbah and 5 star room , but it might be without view and bad old obsolete room , small wet bathrooms and so on , only thing good was bangali room service .one more thing we felt that living on height for long time can make u feel strange uncomfortable like jet lag feeling or using too much lifts like 20 times a day if u change 2 lifts for each salah and other trips u get dizzy . We came to conclusion that 3 star hotel was better in medina then this in all aspects . The cheap room we took last time at mekkah was better in saving money and it had everything which we needed and we had calculated time to reach mekkah . or take any smaller hotels without big malls or not too high . how was ur stay at pullman zamzam? and when arriving there with luggage at check in do we have to use the mall entrance? or is there an underground parking access as well from where we take our luggage upstairs?

There is an underground drop-off to all of the hotels located within the Clock Tower including Pullman Zamzam, this is the best way to enter with your luggages, otherwise the mall entrance will be difficult as you have to take 2 lifts to get to the hotel lobby. I wouldn't recommend staying at Pullman Zamzam because the hotel is dilapidated and they capitalise on the closeness to the haram. I would advise on reading reviews on Tripadvisor especially from guests from the UK and US.

thank you so much.. the luggage issue got sorted .. and my stay at pullman zamzam was very good Alhamdulillah though i was very skeptical after reading so many negative reviews.. but it all turned out to be awesome. Thanks to Allah. I guess it all matters from person to person. It gets unfortunate for some people.

+sohail Awan Assalamualaikum. The Hilton suites is an excellent hotel but I would not recommend it for you, as sometimes they open the road and you would have to cross it to get to the haram. I would recommend other hotels in the clock tower such as Swissotel Makkah; as they have ample lifts and ramps and no roads to cross. May Allah make it easy for you. امين

سافرت لأكثر من ٥٠ مدينة بالعالم فتخيلوا عدد الفنادق الي سكنتها بالتأكيد فندكم الأسوء أثاث ومرافق ودورات المياه قديمة جداً،الابواب متاكله،الثلاجة فاضية من أي شي ولو بسيط،المطبخ مافيه أي ادوات تماما،كتمه لإنه مافيه شبابيك،إطلالة الحرم بعيدة. بكمل بإذن الله

Assalamualaikum, Hilton Makkah Convention Hotel is further up Ibrahim Al Khalil road and I would say the walk to Masjid al Haraam will be between 8-12 minutes depending on times of the day

I would agree that they shouldn't be labelled as a 5 star hotel. And hujjaj should be mindful that just because the hotel is in the Clock Tower, doesn't mean the distance to the masjid is close. I would recommend hotels in the smaller Safwa Towers and would highly recommend Dar Al Ghufran
