Jazakallah Khair Mufti Saab, May Allah preserve you and allow us to take benefit from your words. A very balanced talk, with signs of positivity for the ummah, but also a warning we have to change our ways. I have seen many talks over the last two weeks I feel sway too much to either side, which can lead to one feeling confused. This speech reminds me of how the Prophet SAW would ask Allah for enough fear to prevent sinning, and enough obedience that one would reach paradise, this balance is the key to life as a Muslim, particularly at times like this.

I understand your emotions. And yes its a shame on muslim nations who cant unite and stand up to this genocide. But lets look at the broader picture. Win doesnt have to be immediate. It comes when Allah taala wills it. For eg, if we look at the Mongols invasion of muslim lands in 12th century - the immediate and evident result was massacre of lakhs of muslims. But within some decades the same Mongol army accepted Islam. We will never understand the wisdom of events that are happening around us.
