Fiz aqui na minha Tucson e deu certo! Só uma dica importante, nessa peça que tem 2 tupos que encaixa embaixo, melhor é encaixar primeiro essa peça e depois a peça de aluminio, fica muito mais fácil! No video pode ver a peça de plastico aos 6:41 minutos, encaixe primeiro essa peça e depois o tambor de aluminio. Show e obrigado!

Great close up detailed video thanks, but all you did was basically strip down a fuel pump assy and replaced only the housing then fitted the rest of the original parts.

Yes it's the same fuel pump. But look at my channel ( video 40 ) I explained some problems when the fuel pump changed I did not explain it in this video

Thanks for the detailed video. You did the hard job. Then you replaced the plastic container. More easy to wash with fuel cleaner than to change the cover.

Hi Dahen it take about 1 hour to start again but then shut off. Thats why always keep full tank but few days ago it show the sale problem with 3/4 tank. Dont know what to do

Not sure why all this work to replace the plastic housing. Is the filter, not the issue? Why not just clean the filter, or replace entire item if pump is suspect with one out of a salvage car?

Ed Figueroa There is a filter in plastic housing . you can not clean by any cleaner . it's closed . if i change all parts it cost about 120$ . but i bought this plastic housing about 10$

WOW, so the external filter is not the only one, there is another one located inside the white plastic housing, WOW, that sucks! I am thinking of doing this on my wife's 2008 KIA Optima, it seems to miss and hesitate while going down the from time to time. One day it would not start, too an hr before it would start. Something in the pump, filter, who knows. I have a complete replacement from wrecked 2008 KIA, so going to try that. Thanks Ed

I feel like this is too critical of a component to risk having an issue using some questionable aftermarket piece. For 75 to 130 dollars you can purchase all new components in a fuel pump assembly. Then the job looks to be about 10 minutes, just unbolt and swap in the new assembly. 🙂

i would have called the 'fuel filter' the small mesh bag on the pump. you seem to have changed the plastic housing, but i cant see why? unless it has some other filter element that doesnt show up on camera

Thank you very mach - good man - look at the video (5:50) you can see it written on the box fuel filter - inside this plastic is filter and its important than the small mesh bag on the pump because it can cleaning but the filter inside the plastic you can not clean it - and wen the filter inside the plastic are close so the car can not start in first cycle key or not running at any time.
