Thanks for your video. I am getting the part Saturday from Walmart, but I've already pried the glovebox apart using some auto body and trim tools I picked up today. The plastic accessories on my 2009 Kia Sportage are terrible. I'm about to replace my 4th door handle (They failed front right, rear left, front left, and now rear right) luckily last fail I bought a 4 pack,. but replacing the rear involves removing the door panel, so glad to have to trim tools.. The switch cover on the middle dome light broke off, the AUX door broke, and today the glovebox handle. I don't see any way to fix the dome light or AUX cover without a replacement, which are upwards of $30, so I think I'll wait until I have nothing better to do/burn money on. This summer I had to cut an access hole in my liftgate, because the lock actuator broke in the locked position. I pulled that panel, replaced the actuator, then put it back together and reinstalled the cut out piece with beige duct tape. I also replaced a floppy visor on the driver's side. 75K miles.

Is your glove compartment on the right or left of your car? My handle is for an LHD rather than an RHD.
