I absolutely LOVE Shaghaf Oud Tonka. It's definitely heavy on the almond, I liken the scent to marzipan. Oddly enough I also pick up a dark cherry accord in it too. Very sweet, warm, ambery , almond. It reminded me of Prada Candy Gloss. It's so beautiful to me. I'm sad it is limited edition.

You need to spray out the pipe 10-15 times on the middle eastern scents, and let them macerate for a couple of months and then revisit them and see if you still feel them same way. ME scents get better as they age

Valaya is my favorite fragrance. I was so bummed out by Mystique Bouquet! It definitely missed the soul of Valaya.

Bumble bees are pretty docile. They can sting more than once, but are much less likely to sting than hornets or yellow jackets (from a bee phobe)

I also didn’t like mystique bouquet at all. But I use it as a deodorant when I don’t feel like wearing deodorant because it lasts quite a while.

I'm confused. The notes that you listed for Mystic Boutique are not the same ones that are from the website. Maybe you got something different from Amazon. You have to be careful because sometimes you get things that are not from reputable sellers on Amazon. What are the notes in Afnan Mystique Bouquet perfume? Top Notes: white peach, mandarin orange, bergamot and litchi Heart Notes: peony, orange blossom, vetiver and mahonia Base Notes: musk, oak moss, ambroxan and vanilla

@zanaleezee yep. Unless they are coming directly from Amazon, do not buy. Amazon has private sellers on that app so you're likely to get anything when buying things like that, even water.

Those notes for Mystique Bouquet sound all wrong. It is somewhere along the lines of Valaya and Fleur Narcotique.

Thank you so much for subscribing! I did gift the Afnan fragrance to my friend and she liked it so I’m very glad she’s able to use it. I’ve never smelled Valaya so I’m not sure how it compares yet but I look forward to trying a sample.

Smell-wise, it's just like Valaya to me but delivers like Fleur Narcotique. Maybe meant to be inspired by both. The woods and musk in Valaya is punchier and louder, but not in Mystique which is more dewy like Fleur Narcotique. Hope that helps.

I really dislike valaya and I love mystique bouquet so although they share similarities they are definitely different. And I usually like strong, dry, spicy, unisex, woody fragrances..

Mystique Bouquet is supposed to be a dupe of Valaya by Parfums de Marly, but without those woodier notes. So I think you may like the original more. Have you tried it? I'm with you about Mystique though. I have a decant of the original from Scent Split, and although it is very close, it's missing what makes Valaya unique.

I've heard that MB is a dupe for Valaya and just assumed I wouldn't like it because I don't like this one but now I'm curious. Though I prefer a woodier base note, I may need to try a sample of Valaya as well.

Don’t judge Valaya off Mystique Bouquet. Valaya is something very special that you have to experience to understand.
