Dante couldn't handle Beowulf.. But he could absolutely handle Virgil wearing a weapon made from beowolf... Yeah that makes total sense

Yamato has the power of darkness so it’s naturally effective against a light demon like Beowulf, that’s why Vergil was able to kill him so easily and Dante wasn’t (that and Dante had already weakened him).
