@Phil F. I'm pretty sure Dutch was stuck on a crossroads in the end. If he helped Arthur and betray Micah, he would remain an outlaw and probably hunted for the rest of his life. Alliance with Micah means that the government would be off his back since Micah had connections with the government, plus that to the money from Blackwater, I think that's an offer any outlaw wouldn't refuse to accept. Then again, Arthur himself was already dying from Tuberculosis during the end game. So, I guess Dutch just gave up on him. Tho, I can see Arthur's death hurt him more than Hosea's even after all those years in John's revenge epilogue.

Arthur was doubting Dutch on just about every move and Micah slowly crept his way to be Dutchs right hand man, also arthur was dying while talking to Dutch. Even if Dutch tried to help Arthur he would've died moments later anyway

What I like about this game is that you also see John’s arc from someone irresponsible who didn’t care about Jack that much and treated Abigail bad and as soon as Jack is kidnapped he realizes he was wrong and started becoming a better father and husband like when he is always questioning Dutch about everything because he is thinking about Abigail and Jack first

This is my favorite mission in the entire game. Just seeing the gang waltzing up to the front gates armed to the teeth and ready to crack some skulls, with the epic music in the background. Then walking out of the manor as it burns to the ground after having killed LITERALLY EVER SINGLE BRAITHWAITE THERE EVER WAS, all to save Jack, is just fantastic. Flawless design.

RDR1 ended in the year 1914, the year world war 1 started, so my guess if Jack is the future main character then it'll be about him surviving from the government or taking a boat to Europe. That’ll be a drastic change in the theme though, it'll be similar to CoD. My guess is that in the future, it’ll be a new outlaw, maybe someone who did survive in the ending finally or either Dutch's mentor.

The perfect follow up mission to Sean’s death imo. Blood was pumping so much after seeing that shit, this was the perfect way to let out the emotion I guess. Breaks my heart this gang turned on each other, but to see them go rescue Jack was pretty incredible

When I did this mission I rushed the house with a shotgun and I went up the stair as a dude was coming down them, I blasted him and he flew through the window. It was so incredibly cinematic I assumed it was scripted but knowing that happened organically now makes it just that much more special.

The closest I ever felt this badass was in an old game called The Warriors there's a mission where the leader Cleon decides to go out and meet a rival gang leader to kill him no words are exchanged throughout the first part of the cutscene when he's walking towards where the guy's held up just him walking with the other's silently abandoning there previous tasks and falling in line behind him no questions asked or orders given they just know that shit's about to go down it was pretty cool but still this scene was way better
