@@steelesprints2246 no it wasn’t. It was not the first time Vegeta risked the planet or felt useless. It’s not the first time he used up everything and failed. Cell was scared for a moment perhaps but that’s not enough to warrant all this attention because he proceeded to mock him by pretending to be defeated and then he brutally beat Vegeta. Scenes like this here were FAR more important. It was the first and only time Vegeta felt so much despair that he cried. It was the first time he asked anyone for help. It was the first time his huge pride was completely destroyed.

I love the sound effect so much, but I feel like it wasn't appropriate; it's more fitting for like when a character is determined or claims victory, like in FighterZ it's used for most of the good guys' victory screens

Shame the cut out vegetas personal epilog. Right after he mentions frieza destroyed the planet, He says: frieza took him from his father/family. Told him if he didnt do as he was told he kill his father. The sayians worked so hard for him, we did everything he asked of us. But he killed my father and everyone else too. Kakarot.... please........ i beg you kill frieza, avenge our people........dont let him........ turn anyone else into what he made me into Shame they choose to cut that set of lines. Its what sold us to the fact vegeta for all the evil he had done, he was made into a monster.

At least it has Vegeta randomly give up mid-beating on Frieza instead of the usual fare of KO'ing the computer and then being told you lost. Honestly Tenkaichi 3 may have been the only one with the brains to simply have you play as the villain when the protagonists are meant to lose. It's just stupid watching Frieza have his health decimated and then get "lol didn't hurt" in a game made in 2020. Alternatively just have Frieza auto-dodge every attack for 30 seconds and then have a cutscene play.

The Vegeta Death scene definitely had far more impact in Budokai. Music choice was also far superior, plagiarism or not. I can feel for that one, but can not really say the same here.
