I think Arab parents are afraid their kids are gonna turn into typical American teenagers, so they strict them with rules. Little do they know that these rules are the reason they would want to be American teenagers!!!! Like omg!! Im a muslim arabic girl, and I know why I'm muslim, so I love being Muslim. My parents gave me guide lines and raised me and they trust their method so I can go out and have fun and see friends and do whatever I want whenever I want, and babyyyyy I'm not bragging but I'm more into my religion than anyone who has strict parents because I don't feel suffocated by it

C G the thing is most Aarab parents it's not that they don't trust their child they don't trust the surrounding enviroument and what could happen when they aren't around , at least that's how it is for me and that's how it seems for her

I always feel so bad for Hidaya. One thing is loving and protecting your child but this is misogynistic. Constantly controlling and putting a young woman down because you want it to be your way or the highway. No one deserves to live like this. I hope she turns 18 and is able to break free from this toxic environment. She’s a very smart and loving young woman, she deserves to be happy, experience the world, fall in love and make her own decisions. Hang in there Hidaya. There’s more to life than this.

Gadriah Said in our religion there has never been said woman cant strike on their own even in our holy book our prophet marries a woman who is more richer and has a high standard.I kind of dislike how they are trying to enforce this.In a way its her family i hope one day they would change their mindset.
